I'm a product designer who's spent 14 years solving complex problems, and a lifetime learning how to understand people who don't think, speak, or live like me.

I'm proactive by nature. I'd rather build, contribute, and learn than wait for the perfect brief. That mindset has carried me across enterprise platforms, medical apps, eCommerce systems and across (almost) every continent on the map.

I've traveled across the globe. I lived in New Zealand for a year and in the UK for over a year. But I never traveled as a tourist. I hitchhiked. I slept in strangers' homes. I shared meals with people I couldn't exchange a single word with. I learned new languages, new expressions, even new alphabets, because that was the only way to truly connect. None of it was a holiday. It was the most demanding, rewarding way I know to understand how people actually live.

Communicating without a shared language teaches you something no design course can: how to read intent, sense friction, and find understanding when the obvious channel is gone. That's the core of how I design. I work to understand the person on the other side of it, their context, their constraints, what they're really trying to do. The empathy I built on the road is the same empathy I bring to my job.
